#-------------# #Readme file: #-------------# # For the files: qPCR_ovaries_evolexp.csv and qPCR_nerve_cord_evolexp.csv: Each line represents one sample (ovaries or nerve cord of an individual injected for the dedicated experimental passage) # For the file: qPCR_hemocytes_evolexp.csv: Each line represents one sample, corresponding to a pool of hemocytes for all the individuals of an experimental line (A, B or C) for a dedicated experimental passage # For all the qPCR files: column headers mean: "Passage": corresponds to the experimental passage number (P0 to P8) of the samples tested "Lineage": corresponds to the experimental lineage (A, B or C) of the samples tested "wsp copy nb": corresponds to the number of copies of the wsp gene (single copy gene of Wolbachia) determined by qPCR measurement for each sample "DNA quantity (ng)": corresponds to the total DNA quantity in nanogramms for each sample and determined by nanodrop measurement "wsp copy/ng DNA": corresponds to the ratio of the Wolbachia wsp gene copy number normalized by the total quantity of DNA for each sample tested # For the file: hemocytes_infected_proportion_evolexp.csv: Each line represents one picture taken using epifluorescence microscope. For each lineages (A, B and C), 10 pictures have been taken (total of 30 pictures per experimental passage) Column headers mean: "Passage": corresponds to the experimental passage number (P0 to P8) of the samples tested "Lineage": corresponds to the experimental lineage (A, B or C) of the samples tested "nb_infected_hemocytes": correspond to the raw value of hemocyte showing one or more Wolbachia in each picture "total_nb_hemocytes": correspond to the total number of hemocytes (infected and uninfected) in each picture "%_infected_hemocytes": corresponds to the proportion of infected hemocytes on the total hemocytes counted for each pictures # For the file: mortalities_histogram_evolexp.csv: Each line represents the values of one lineage at one passage Column headers mean: "Passage": corresponds to the experimental passage number (P0 to P8) of the samples tested "Lineage": corresponds to the experimental lineage (A, B or C) of the samples tested "dead_individual": corresponds to the total number of dead injected individual for each lineage at each passage "total_individual": corresponds to the total number of injected individual for each lineage at each passage "mortality_percentage": correponds to the proportion of dead injected individual on the total number of injected individuals for each lineage and passage # For the file: survival_curves_evolexp.csv: Each line represents one injected individual (starting from passage 5 to passage 8) Column headers mean: "Passage": corresponds to the experimental passage number (P5 to P8) of the samples tested "Lineage": corresponds to the experimental lineage (A, B, C or control (T-)) of the samples tested "time": corresponds to the timing of a mortality event (censor for the survival curves) "status": if 0= injected individual is dead at the considered timepoint, if 1= injected individual is alive at the considered time point "passlineage": a comnination of "passage" and lineage" to allow subsets of the table for graphical and statistical analyses using R
