Missing data is indicated by an empty space. Column headings are in the following order and format: **allspecies** species - species names crest_presence - presence (1) or absence (0) of tail crests in each taxa. neigh_distance_m - average neighbor distance in meters for each taxa. prop_crests - proportion of individuals surveyed within taxa that possessed tail crests. light_log(x+1) - average ambient habitat light measured for each male for a given taxa (units are μmol m-2 s1). male_density - average number of male neighbors recorded for each male surveyed within taxa. sex_ratio - average number of male neighbors divided by the average number of females residing within a male's territory for a given taxa. **gundlachi** species - species name. lizard - identification number of each male lizard surveyed. svl_mm - snout-to-vent length measured in millimeters. num_females - average number of females residing within a male's territory. tail_regen - whether a tail crest exhibited signs of regeneration (1) or was fully intact (0). crest_area - area of the tail crest in mm2. population - population of a given male. **DATA COLLECTOR** All data was collected by Terry J.
