File List: Nisa_et_al_Raw_Data.xlsx The file contains the raw data collected from HPLC analysis. The data were collected from the experimental analysis of different optimisation parameters (50 µL of DES 2 as extraction solvent; 100 µL of tetrahydrofuran (THF) as emulsifier solvent; pH 2; extraction time; 5 min), method validations and recovery. 2. Relationship between files, if important: 3. Additional related data collected that was not included in the current data package: 4. Are there multiple versions of the dataset? no A. If yes, name of file(s) that was updated: i. Why was the file updated? ii. When was the file updated? METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION 1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: A 1.5 mL of ultrapure water containing 0.1 mg L-1 of dicamba and MCPA of pH 2 was transferred into a centrifuge tube. 100 µL of DES (extraction solvent) and THF (emulsifier solvent) were added to the sample. The tube was placed on the vortex mixer at 2500 rpm for 5 min. The solution was cloudy after vortexing which was caused by the aggregation of DES droplet from the aqueous phase. The targeted analytes were simultaneously extracted to the DES phase during this process. The solution was then centrifuge at 3400 rpm for 10 min to separate the DES phase from the aqueous phase. The extract was dried under a steady stream of nitrogen gas at room temperature and reconstitute with 25 µL of mobile phase before being injected into HPLC system. 2. Methods for processing the data: The raw data were collected from the experimental analysis. All data were obtained from HPLC analysis and interpolated through a calibration curve to determine the enrichment factor and recovery. 3. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data: Quantification of dicamba and MCPA were carried out using HPLC system (JASCO, USA), equipped with JASCO PU 158- Pump and UV-1570 Intelligent UV detector operating at a 235 nm wavelength. Data from HPLC analysis were analysed with Microsoft Excel. 4. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: 5. Environmental/experimental conditions: 6. Number of variables: 10 2. Number of cases/rows: 3. Variable List: The parameters were optimised using one-variable-at-one-time (OVAT) method where only 1 parameter will be change during the analysis. The data were collected from the experimental analysis of different optimisation parameters (50 µL of DES 2 as extraction solvent; 100 µL of tetrahydrofuran (THF) as emulsifier solvent; pH 2; extraction time; 5 min), method validations and recovery. 4.
