Burdon Description: This README file describes the data package associated with the above publication. All units and methods are described in the publication. Files: 01_Taddei_et_al_Field_gammarid_sizes.txt: Data file with length (mm) data of gammarid amphipods from three Swiss streams (Sites) with sampling points upstream and downstream of WWTP discharges. 02_Taddei_et_al_Field_gammarid_stages.txt: Data file with abundance data of gammarid amphipods (Adult and juveniles) from individual Hess samples (Rep) collected from six Swiss streams (Sites) with sampling points upstream and downstream of WWTP discharges. 03_Taddei_et_al_Field_gammarid_species.txt: Data file with density data of gammarid amphipods (juvenile Gammarids, Gammarus fossarum, G. pulex) from individual Hess samples (Rep) collected from six Swiss streams (Sites) with sampling points upstream and downstream of WWTP discharges. 04_Taddei_et_al_Field_gammarid_sex.txt: Data file with abundance data of gammarid amphipods (G. fossarum, G. pulex) and gender (male, female, intersex) from individual Hess samples (Rep) collected from three Swiss streams (Sites) with sampling points upstream and downstream of WWTP discharges. 05_Taddei_et_al_Field_gammarid_females.txt: Data file with size and fecundity data for individual gravid female gammarid amphipods (G. fossarum, G. pulex) collected in kick net samples (Rep) from three Swiss streams (Sites) with sampling points upstream and downstream of WWTP discharges. 06_Taddei_et_al_Transplant_experiment.txt: Data file for the field transplant experiment conducted in Swiss streams (Knonau) with cage complexes placed at the sampling point upstream and downstream of a WWTP discharge. The data includes invididual gammarid body size (length: Size_in_mm, Size_out_mm), leaf Consumption (% area consumed, % area consumed per day, % area consumed per day corrected for Universal Temperature Dependence), and Growth (relative growth, relative growth per day, relative growth per day corrected for UTD). Juvenile Gammarids and adult G. fossarum & G. pulex were sourced from the upstream sampling location. 07_Taddei_et_al_Lab_expt_consumption.txt: Data file for the laboratory experiment includes invididual gammarid body size (length: Size_in_mm, Size_out_mm) and leaf Consumption (% area consumed, % area consumed per day) by juvenile and adult G. fossarum exposed to one of four different treatments (Control, Technical control, 'Low' and 'High' Micropollutant concentration mixtures. Consumption was recorded at the end of seven days for 21 days (Weeks 1-3). 08_Taddei_et_al_Lab_expt_growth.txt: Data file for the laboratory experiment includes invididual gammarid body size (length: Size_in_mm, Size_out_mm) and Growth (relative growth, relative growth per day) by juvenile and adult G. fossarum exposed to one of four different treatments (Control, Technical control, 'Low' and 'High' Micropollutant concentration mixtures. Growth was recorded at the end of 21 days (Week 3). 09_Taddei_et_al_Lab_expt_survival.txt: Data file for the laboratory experiment includes invididual gammarid body size (length: Size_in_mm, Size_out_mm) and Survival (1, alive; 0, dead) for juvenile and adult G. fossarum exposed to one of four different treatments (Control, Technical control, 'Low' and 'High' Micropollutant concentration mixtures. Survival was recorded daily but here is presented at the end of 21 days (Week 3).
