For each 10 x 10 km cell the feature class contains the following information: Gps_Date: date and time of the survey effort (provided by a GPS logger) Total_Length: total of linear effort in kilometers Depth: depth in meters Slope: slope in degrees Dist_Seamount: distance to nearest seamount in kilometers Dist_Canyon: distance to nearest canyon in kilometers VGPM_Monthly: vertically generalized primary productivity in mg C m-² day-1 with a contemporaneous monthly resolution SST_Monthly: sea surface temperature in degrees Celsius with a contemporaneous monthly resolution EKE_Monthly: eddy kinetic energy in cm² s-² with a contemporaneous monthly resolution The feature class is projected to a custom Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area projection. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The covariates folder contains the following rasters of environmental covariates: Depth_10km_mean_10km.img: depth in meters Dist_to_canyons_costdist_10km.img: distance to nearest canyon in kilometers Dist_to_seamounts_costdist_10km.img: distance to nearest seamount in kilometers Slope_10km_mean_10km.img: slope in degrees EKE_climXX.img: eddy kinetic energy in cm² s-² with a climatological monthly resolution (XX: month) sst_climXX.img: sea surface temperature in degrees Celsius with a climatological monthly resolution (XX: month) vgpm_climXX.img: vertically generalized primary productivity in mg C m-² day-1 with a climatological monthly resolution (XX: month) All rasters have a 10 × 10 km spatial resolution and are projected to a custom Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area projection. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.cpg; MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.dbf; MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.prj; MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.sbn MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.shp; MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.shp.xml; MedGap_Study_Area_v1_constrained_projected.shx: shapefile feature class (geometry type: polygon) of the study area.
