File name: SimulatedData_Fig3_Loci.15.tar.gz File type: Compressed folder Investigation: Gruenstaeudl M, Reid NM, Wheeler GL, Carstens BC. Posterior Predictive Checks of Coalescent Models: P2C2M, an R package Date: 29-Jan-2015 Maintainer: Michael Gruenstaeudl This readme file describes the files contained in the compressed folder "SimulatedData_Fig3_Loci.15.tar.gz". The contained files are at the foundation of the analyses that lead to the construction of Figure 3 (columnspace 'N of loci: 15') of the above investigation. They were simulated on genealogies that were themselves simulated under the multispecies coalescent model using a total of 15 separate genes. The files were generated with Seq-Gen (Rambaut & Grassley 1997) and constitute the direct input to the Python script BEAUTiAutomator.py. The following files are included: 1) "Alignments_Fig3_Loci.15_Sim.01.nex", "Alignments_Fig3_Loci.15_Sim.02.nex", ... , "Alignments_Fig3_Loci.15_Sim.25.nex" These are the nucleotide sequence data alignments for each of 25 different simulated genealogy sets. Each file contains one multi-sequence alignment for each of the 15 genes under study. Note that all alignments are in the NEXUS multiple alignment format.
