Join us

Dryad makes it easy and affordable to curate, publish, and preserve research data by providing robust infrastructure, services, and expertise to meet your organization's needs. Whether you’d like to see data shared to support research integrity, open research or compliance with funder policies, we can help. Our multi-stakeholder community of academic and research institutions, research funders, scholarly societies and publishers is committed to leading in best practices for open data sharing and reuse. To join Dryad today, please contact us.

  • Institutions and funders join the community to support researchers who already rely on Dryad for sharing their data, and to leverage an out-of-the-box solution to curate, publish, share and preserve the research data resulting from their support.
  • Societies, research organizations and publishers join Dryad to enhance service to authors with data publishing support, to promote research integrity and enable peer review, and to continue to define best practice for data sharing and reuse.

Joining the Dryad community has helped us build stronger connections with researchers on campus, engage more fully in discussions related to the management and sharing of research data, and become part of the broader open science community. Being able to address the question “How can I share my data?” with a top of the line and curation-focused platform not only helps us to address an immediate need but allows us to position the library as a source of expertise on related issues more generally. Our partnership with Dryad allows Lane Medical Library to offer exceptional data storage and curation so we can focus our resources on education, guidance, and community building.

— Director, Research & Instruction, Lane Medical Library, Stanford University

Dryad is recognised and supported by communities of authors, reviewers and editors as providing a simple solution for data sharing and compliance with funder policies. Partnering with Dryad over many years has been vital in realizing our data sharing policy: with hundreds of datasets being openly available in support of research integrity and openness.

Institutions

Our institutional member dues are tiered in relation to your institution’s anticipated research output. All tiers include the benefits listed above. Fees are annual and in USD.

  • Level 1 Membership: $13,000 – Large, research-intensive institutions
  • Level 2 Membership: $7,500 – Medium, research-intensive institutions
  • Level 3 Membership: $3,000 – Primarily teaching institutions or small research output

We need your input! From April to November 2023 we are piloting and gathering input on a new approach to fees for institutional members. The fee pilot includes an annual membership fee based on level of research activity and volume-based data publication fees. Contact gro.dayrdatad@olleh for more information.
