Abstract
Isotopic data of bats captured in Jamaica over two field seasons. Data includes species, date of capture, locality, as well as relevant output of stable isotope analysis. All fieldwork was conduced in Jamaica, lab work was conducted at SEILO, University of California, Merced.

Files and variables
File: Supplement_2_-_Isotope_data.csv
Description: Isotopic data relevant to publication
Variables
- bat_id - corresponds to unique identifier given to all bats captured in Jamaica. For specific use, please contact authors
- genus_species - Amalgamated genus_species codes. All taxonomy is updated and relevant to 2023-2024 field seasons.
- capture_date - "night-of" captures; all bats were captured on the night of the date listed, even if after 23:59 the date remained the same.
- locality - cave name of where each animal was captured. For more specific site information, contact authors
- sample_mass - mass of each hair sample on analysis in grams
- hair_d13c - Calculated carbon isotopic ratio in hair sample after all data processing. Conducted at SEILO, University of California Merced
- hair_d15n - Calculated nitrogen isotopic ratio in hair sample after all data processing. Conducted at SEILO, University of California Merced
- hair_%n - Percentage of nitrogen from each sample
- hair_%c - Percentage of carbon from each sample
- hair_c/n - Carbon:nitrogen ratio
