Abstract

This study aimed to disentangle the relative roles of climatic, landscape and local factors affecting fruit infestation rates of walnut trees by the invasive fruit fly Rhagoletis completa. We assessed infestation in 24 walnut trees in the north of France, between July and December 2023. The dataset contains fruit infestation variables (number of R. completa individuals emerged from fruits collected in the tree canopy and on the ground), fruit traits and environmental variables (local landscapes and temperatures).
