Abstract

This dataset provides amplicon sequence variant (ASV) data of rhizosphere microbial communities associated with ephemeral plants. The study focused on characterizing the diversity and composition of bacterial communities in the rhizosphere soil of dominant ephemeral plant species. Soil samples were collected from the root zone of selected ephemeral plants in the Gurbantünggüt Desert across seedling and flowering stages. Microbial DNA was extracted from rhizosphere soils, and the bacterial 16S rRNA gene (V4 region) was amplified and sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 following standard protocols. Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs) were inferred and taxonomically classified against the SILVA 138.1 database.
