Abstract
Impatiens labordei Hook.f. was initially collected by E.M. Bodinier and J. Laborde in Guiyang, Guizhou in 1899, and described by J.D. Hooker in 1908. However, no relevant collection records or images have been found for over a century since its original description. In this study, based on the examination of type specimens and by retracing the historical collection routes of early missionaries, we rediscovered the species in Longli County, Guizhou Province. A supplementary morphological description is presented here, accompanied by color photographs and distribution information. Additionally, the morphological differences between I. labordei Hook.f. and the closely related species I. bodinieriHook.f. are compared.
