Abstract
These data accompany the manuscript "Infection of the maternal-fetal interface and vertical transmission following low-dose inoculation of pregnant rhesus macaques (Macaca mulattta) with an African-lineage Zika virus" The included images are low magnification scans of full-thickness placental sections (placenta containing decidua, placental villi, and chorionic plate) evaluated with in situ hybridization against ZIKV RNA. Details of methods are provided in the manuscript. Only slides that were deemed positive are included.
