Abstract
The experimental setup was in a greenhouse study at the VUB, Brussels. Above and belowground biomass was measured for plants growing in soils conditioned by conspecifics OR other species. By repeating this at different nutrient levels and different N:P ratios, we could examine whether plant-soil feedbacks depend on nutrient availability.

Columns:
A. Response_species_Conditioning_species = This column shows the plant grown in the conditioning phase (Z = self = conspecific, A = other species)
B. Level indicates how high the nutrient level was (high and low)
C. Ratio = Indicates the N:P ratio
D. Family = Plant family = Asteraceae or Poaceae
E. Niche = Stoichiometric niche = low, intermediate, or high N:P niche
F. Soil conditioning by self or other plant species (Z = self = conspecific, A = other species)
G. BM std = Total dry biomass in g of the plant
H. PSF used in our study
I. Species_abbreviation of the species grown in the response phase
J. Species grown in the response phase
