Abstract

We used two integrated-hierarchical models to examine the effects of (1) nocturnal and (2) foraging habitat selection, as well as age, and year on bobwhite chick survival rates (11-84 days), while also estimating tag-retention rates of backpack-suture style radios. Both models incorporate three unique data sets (chick telemetry, adult telemetry, seasonal trapping efforts).

Each R script is fully annotated. Models are in a Bayesian framework and executed via the Nimble package. All input files are included and described in the ReadMe file
