Abstract
We provide a dataset containing reproductive, individual, and telomere length data collected from Tree Swallows between 2023 and 2024. The dataset was generated as part of a long-term monitoring program since 2004 of nest boxes located in southern Québec, Canada, and includes individual data (i.e., body mass, wing length, age, and sex), reproductive data (i.e., laying date, clutch size, and number of hatchlings), environmental data, and qPCR results for telomere length analyses. All codes used for relative telomere length analyses are also provided. The accompanying manuscript provides detailed information on data collection protocols, variable definitions, and data structure to facilitate dataset interpretation and reuse. By making these data openly available, we aim to support reproducible research and promote the integration of long-term and collaborative datasets in ecological and evolutionary studies.

Telomere dynamics drivers in Tree Swallows
Authors: Juliette Barbeau, Fanie Pelletier, Dany Garant
This directory contains data related to the analysis of telomere length (TL) in female Tree Swallows (Tachycineta bicolor) from 2004 to 2024. The main objective is to evaluate individual and environmental factors influencing within- and between-individual variation in telomere length.
