Abstract
This dataset includes the semi-structured interview protocol used to conduct expert validation interviews for a study on multi-tier alternative dispute resolution (ADR) clauses in P3 contracts. The study developed and evaluated a proposed ADR framework for P3 contracts, drawing on a previously published study titled "Structuring Multitiered ADR Mechanisms in Public–Private Partnerships: Cross-Jurisdictional Insights". Expert interviews were used to validate the problem statement, corroborate the case study findings, assess the proposed framework, and extend the study's conclusions.
The instrument was pilot-tested with two individuals — one industry practitioner and one academic advisor — and revised twice before deployment. It was administered to 16 experts with ADR backgrounds between January 2026 and March 2026 under University of Washington IRB approval.
The interview transcripts are confidential under the terms of participant consent and are not included here. This deposit is intended to support methodological transparency and to allow reuse or adaptation of the instrument in related studies of dispute resolution in construction in construction contracts.
