Abstract

This dataset contains the raw data associated with the manuscript “Isotocin receptor-adenylyl cyclase signaling mediates pH compensation in marine fish exposed to CO₂-induced acidification.” It includes quantitative PCR (qPCR) data for genes involved in acid-base regulation, cAMP measurements determined by ELISA, and proton secretion data obtained from yolk-sac ionocytes. The dataset also contains results from Morpholino (MO)-mediated knockdown experiments targeting ITRb and ADCY5, used to assess their functional roles in epithelial H⁺ secretion under hypercapnic conditions. Data were collected from marine medaka (Oryzias melastigma) exposed to control (pH 8.1, pCO2~~0.03 kPa) and CO2~-acidified seawater (pH 7.6, pCO~2~~0.14 kPa), supporting analyses of hormonal regulation and the molecular mechanisms underlying acid-base regulation during ocean acidification.
