Abstract
We assembled and reviewed 123 studies examining the movements of birds in urban environments using movement tracking. We assumed that avian movements are driven by different internal states, such as foraging or reproduction, and synthesised the literature accordingly. This dataset includes the metadata extracted from the articles returned by our literature search, which were deemed relevant per the criteria laid out in the associated review paper. Includes publication year, species studied, species mass, countries studied, biologger type, and studied internal driver of movement. Includes the raw search results from Web of Science in the second sheet.
