Abstract

Data deposition pertaining to the following manuscript, "Integrin-Talin axis regulates mechanosensory synapse development and behavioral habituation to mechanical stimulation" authored by:  Jonathan Amezquita, Nelson Ayala, Muriel Desbois, Karla Opperman, Neal Mathew, Brock Grill.

This dataset is provided as GraphPad Prism project files containing the raw measurements reported in the associated study of presynaptic branch development and maintenance in C. elegans mechanosensory PLM neurons. The data also includes behavioral measurements used to analyze habituation to repeated mechanical stimulation. The deposited files include raw measurements used to evaluate neuronal development across genetic and cell-specific protein-depletion conditions involving the Talin-axis pathway and RPM-1 signaling. Data are organized within the Prism project files according to the relevent experimental condition, genotype, replicate, and experimental unit as applicable to each analysis. Recorded values include categorical neuronal phenotype measurements, quantitative fluorescence measurements, branch-related measurements, and behavioral-response measurements, together with the statistical analysis used in the article. These data can be reused to reproduce quantitative comparisons reported in the associated article and reanalyze genotype-dependent neuronal phenotypes. Definitions of files, measurements, phenotype categories, and genotype abbreviations are provided in the accompanying README.

The dataset was generated from laboratory studies of C. elegans and contains no human-subject data. The authors declare no legal or ethical restrictions on public reuse beyond the terms of the Dryad data publication.
