Abstract
This dataset contains de-identified clinical and imaging data from a hospital-based cross-sectional observational study conducted at a tertiary eye care centre in Kathmandu, Nepal, between June 2020 and June 2021. The study included 203 participants (406 eyes) categorized into primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), glaucoma suspects, and control groups. Data were collected from patients aged 18–80 years attending general ophthalmology and glaucoma outpatient departments. The dataset includes demographic variables (age, sex), clinical parameters (best-corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure, central corneal thickness), and imaging-derived measurements of macular ganglion cell complex (GCC) thickness obtained using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography. GCC parameters included average, superior, and inferior thickness values for both eyes. These data may be used to evaluate structural changes in glaucoma, validate diagnostic performance of GCC parameters, or support further research in ophthalmic imaging and glaucoma detection. All data have been de-identified to protect patient confidentiality.

This dataset contains de-identified data from a hospital-based cross-sectional observational study conducted at BP Koirala Lions Centre for Ophthalmic Studies (BPKLCOS), Kathmandu, Nepal, from June 2020 to June 2021. The study evaluates macular ganglion cell complex (GCC) thickness in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), glaucoma suspects, and control subjects.

Ethical Considerations
All data have been de-identified to protect patient confidentiality. Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Committee of the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University.
Reuse Notes
These data may be used for research on glaucoma diagnosis, OCT imaging, and structural retinal changes. Users should consider that both eyes from the same participant are included, which may introduce inter-eye correlation.

The dataset file is an SPSS version 23 file, and can be viewed via SPSS or JASP.
Human subjects data
A written informed consent has been obtained from all the participants to participate in the study and also to publish the data in a public domain. Identifying information including name and detailed address, have been replaced with serial numbers.
