Description List of studies from a search through Web of Science Core Collection on April 3 2018, using the three search terms “eco-evolutionary dynamics”, “eco-evolutionary dynamics and sexual selection” and “eco-evolutionary dynamics and sexual conflict”. showed that the term eco-evolutionary dynamics first appeared in a publication in 1991, and remained quite rare in the literature until after 2011, after which it rapidly increased (Fig. S1). The current literature encompasses 566 articles (Fig. S1), which have been cited 10 679 times.
