Title Monarch overwinter trait data (dryad)
Description This file contains data relevant to Green II and Kronforst 2019 (Molecular Ecology) article "Monarch butterflies use an environmentally sensitive, internal timer to control overwintering dynamics". Monarch butterflies were collected near Pismo Beach, CA in fall/winter 2015/2016. Phenotypes measured: mature oocyte count, (wet) mass. Experimental variables: chamber condition ('condition'), source of butterflies ('source'), and month of collection ('month'). Individuals included in sequence analysis are indicated in 'sequenced' column. Individuals that were sequenced have an additional sequencing submission id beginning with "MK-AG". Please refer to article for additional details.
