Abstract

These are genotype calls for Gulf of Maine samples associated with the paper 'Species identification based on a semi-diagnostic marker: evaluation of a simple conchological test for distinguishing blue mussels Mytilus edulis L. and M. trossulus Gould'.

Methods

These are the multilocus snp genotypes for Gulf of Maine mussels in vcf and structure file formats; stacks library reference files

SNP data were generated using a genotype-by-sequencing genome reduction method (see Elshire et al, 2011 doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0019379 and Kingston et al. 2018 DOI: 10.1111/jeb.13224) and using the de novo alignment and SNP calling program STACKS (Catchen et al. 2011 and 2013 doi.org/10.1534/g3.111.000240 and DOI: 10.1111/mec.12354)
